Cock Inn, Church End

OAP menu six days a week is good value if one is not hungry. Otherwise adding a somewhat expensive dessert results in a bill that is just about into the gastro level and not really justified by the quality. Nevertheless overall a pleasant pub which has a proper expresso maker.

The Boot, Chipperfield

Four of us had lunch here on19/02/11. We were the only patrons! Food was excellent and incredible value for money (�7.5 steak and ale pie). The friendly chef told us he has been here for three weeks. The owner (for 6 years) also very pleasant. Green King IPA and Fullers Pride are not the most exciting perhaps but were well kept. Great Pub!
