Worlds End, Northampton

This place doesn't live up to its pretentious look. Fine place for a drink and perhaps a bar nibble but don't eat here. It's way expensive and the service was horrible. We were greeted by a surly head of house that acted as if the place were fully booked. We were sat at a horrible table even tho there were plenty empty. Our food was served in smaller portions than those around us and to be honest even if it were heapping over the plate we both agreed it wasn't good. I ordered the grill fish that was served on the bone with skin on. That's all well and good but no fish knife to it with and no one ever bothered to ask if you needed anything or if the meal were okay. Give it a miss!
