The Three Horseshoes, Cockfield

We had a lovely meal here on Christmas Eve and were very happy to go back again. However, the food was awful! My husband's steak sizzler didn't sizzle at all which meant the steak and onions were undercooked, flavourless and swimming in fat, and the chips were almost solid. The waiter took my husband's plate back to get some new chips but they came back within a few minutes having just been put in the microwave (they were still fairly solid,by the way). What really rankled with us, though, was the attitude of the landlord. He couldn't care less that my husband's meal was virtually inedible and implied that it was just him being fussy. Yeah right, that's why he got food poisoning that night after eating at this pub! We'll certainly not be paying a return visit!
