The Cricketers, Epsom

Lovely listed building in beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, low prices. Pity about the food. Tries to be "gourmet" and fails hopelessly. The more traditional dishes are good value though. Kindest thing to say about tonight, maybe the "cook" had an off day.

The Drummond Arms, Albury

Was my favourite pub for years, still has a beautiful garden. Unfortunately seems to have downhill since new owners took over. New decor in poor taste - food nothing like it was.
