The Full Moon, Little Kingshill

We've been here several times in the last year for lunch which has been excellent every time. The choice is limited but personally I prefer this as the food is generally fresher.
There's a cosy snug bar with an open fire which always has a few locals chatting to the staff. I had a superb pint of Directors last time we were there.

The Rising Sun, Little Hampden

I think the previous comments about this pub are a little harsh. There is a sign about consuming your own food which is fair enough and I found the staff very attentive and the service was good even though it was a very busy sunday lunch-time.
The food was expensive for what it was (�8 for 1 fish-cake and some chips!) but it was well prepared and no more expensive than similar places in the area.
