Try the calamari! Great ambiance and beautiful architecture. Great "restaurant", didn't have too much of a pub feel...except for the football showing. Maybe I'll see Morrissey there someday.

HMS Bounty, Los Angeles

Granted we went there on midday on a weekend in a deserted downtown area. The bar area felt like a pub. Everything else felt like 1950s bratpack lounge with booths. The food was okay. Maybe it's a great place for happy hour for the folk downtown.

The Cat N' Fiddle, Los Angeles

Great garden area before you walk in. Nice bustling feel on the inside. Great place to hang out with friends as long as you're not expecting great food. More fun if you plan on trying to find Morrissey there.
