I'm all for having a drink after 12. I might even join you one night, but I think this will attract the wrong crowd to the village.
With regard to my previous final comment, I think the decor has been spoiled and I woudn't want to see the character and clientele go the same way. And please, can we leave Baaahbara out of this.

The Railway Tavern, Meopham

For bright and airy read tacky and impersonal. I can just about put up with the unfunny posters. The owners have to decide if they want it to be a village pub, or they want to advertise as they have done, for every ne�er do well and waster to descend on the village. They have also applied for a late license. Remember what happened to the Fox? And bouncy castles for all the kids to run around the place. To cap it all, a telly in the saloon bar! Whatever happened to a drink and a chat? One plus�the beer is excellent and the people including the owners are friendly. Sorry if this sems harsh, I just wouldn't want to see it spoiled.
