| Lovely new tenants at this pub. Toilets are now superb! Jayne & Martin are certainly working hard to turn this tired pub around it is now a fresh and contemporary place to enjoy a pint. Food is offered every day...lunch and evening. We tried the Sunday lunch which was freshly cooked with lots of vegetables and crispy golden potatoes. They have an Acoustic Jam night nice a week which we haven't sampled yet but sounds fun. Popping in for a quick glass of wine and a pint on the way home from the station there was a friendly bunch of new regulars at the bar which was nice to see on a Monday night. Hopefully the tenants will continue to improve this establishment and we shall certainly be returning for more roast spuds! Reculey - 17 Mar 2014 20:59 |

| i must say i'm flattered by the latest review in relation to the 'Talk Sport' remark. In essence there are plenty of characters in this pub and the review is i'm afraid hopelessly naive in the extreme.
