The Old Original, Scouthead

Having been told on the phone we didn't need to book, we arrived to be told that we could have a table but only for an hour because a party of 8 had booked! Spot the mismatch?
The meal was served with little grace and was disappointing - a salad with no dressing, over spiced chicken and a desert that had been in the microwave too long and so had rubber edges. Very disappointing; won't be going back.
