The Post Office Vaults, Birmingham

Apart from the size of the pub (very small) the place is a gem! A great selection of beer from all across the country & from abroad (Take a look at the pubs menu and it's enough to make you drool). Pub doesn't sell much in terms of food, but will allow all punters to bring in their own food. For a small pub I have never had a problem getting served, the staff seem very quick and always serve with a smile. I've been in there countless times already but if you pay Birmingham a visit, you have to pop in for a visit.

The Thurlestone, Northfield

My local! It's had problems over the years but I would call it a very friendly pub, much better run as opposed to 5 years ago, and there is the odd karaoke and live act every few months in the lounge. Football scarves and shirts up on the walls and the pub is good to go to for a bit of footie banter, in a mixed Blues & Villa area. I usually drink bottles (Old Peculiar or Newcastle Brown) but the Banks's Mild is pleasent. I've had many good nights in the place over the last few years.

The Woodpecker, Northfield

Never once had a good pint in the place. The gaffers and the punters seemed a friendly bunch but wouldn't recommend the place for the beer.
