The Anchor Bleu, Bosham

Stayed in Bosham this week and ate at the pub every evening. Wonderful menu with a good selection of foods, many of which are seafood. Five real ales which are changed during the week and are superb. Staff were all very friendly and the locals were a lively lot and did not make us feel like intruders. The location cannot be faulted right on the seafront.

The Kingfisher, Colyton

I had read previous comments before visiting this pub and was a bit put off as most seemed negative but my husband and I felt very comfortable here and ate and drank here every night of our stay in Colyton. The ales were very good, the landlord and locals very welcoming and the food delicious. The only thing I would have changed was to have pasta on the menu one night!
