The Three Horseshoes, Letchmore Heath

I used to drive to this country pub decades ago and had heard it was in danger of closing a couple of years back. We decided to see if it was still the same, and we were shocked at the prices. £2.40 for a bottle of coke ad £1.50 for a packet of crisps!

The Elephant and Castle, Amwell

Nice pub but locals think it's an extension of their front room. The landlord appears to offer a taxi service to the Hooray Henry's that form the regular clientele. These numpties insisted on shouting out their exploits from the previous night out at a club in St Albans! Doffing your cap to the spoilt brats from the nearby properties is beyond the pale.

The Sebright Arms, Barnet

Have popped in a couple of times recently. The decor has had a revamp which makes it a clean and comfortable pub, nice beers and very friendly staff. The locals are also very sociable, will visit this pub more often in future.
