The Red Lion Hotel, Old Colwyn

The Red Lion was recommended to us by friends whilst we stayed for a few days in Llandudno. We caught the 12 Arriva bus to Old Colwyn and what a find, the Red Lion was even better than we expected. It�s a proper pub, the staff are friendly and welcoming, there�s a good range of real ales and it�s spotlessly clean. We had a great night and returned each evening during our stay in Wales. Try their Thirsty Thursday night, nine real ales at only �2.25 pint, fantastic value. We wish we had a great pub like this near where we live. We�ll definitely call here again next time we�re in North Wales. Well done the Red Lion.
