The Hatch Inn, Colemans Hatch

Quite possibly the worst pub in Sussex. More intersted in catering to the Okay Ya diners than serving beer. Service is non existant and the bloke behind the bar is incapable of any please or thank you's or the ability to attempt more than one thing at a time. Prices are truely shocking. Shame because it is a really nice setting let down by inept staff. I understand the owner is never around to settle any complaints. Move on to another is my advice.

The Sloop Inn, Wootton Bridge

This is a clean well run road house. The food will not be featured in any Michelin reviews, but you could eat here ten times for what that would cost.
It's recent refurb is very pleasant, nice to see somone puts back some profits in it's infrastructure. The location is wonderful on a sunny day with views of Wooton Creek and boats moored in it. Very handy for the ferry if you arrive early and wish to slup or snack. Food is served all day which is a premium, and the staff are very helpful. Kid friendly but unfortunately not dog friendly after a few irresponsible dog owners left more than a tip.
