The Wig and Pen, Truro

I went into the Wig & Pen after seeing the 'beach' outside the pub, what can be better on a summers day in the middle of a city centre but a beach complete with deckchairs and parrots! Inside the pub it's quite traditional with a good, friendly, welcoming atmosphere. There is a good choice of beers and also non alcholic drinks not the usual J2O's that seem to be in most pubs these days but drinks that don't taste of sugar and have natural flavours in them. The food menu is great both at lunchtime and in the evening i had a cheeseburger the first time which was made with good quality beef and they even asked how i wanted it cooked! I also went in for a second night and had venison with blackberry juis, delicious. Great place, good service, excellent grub & good value for money what more can you ask for whilst on holiday.
