Miles better now the new guys have settled in. The last time I called in under the old regime it was dirty, the toilets smelled and they only had cans of Carling behind the bar.
Much cleaner, brighter and very friendly staff. Good food to be had on Friday & Saturday evenings and a proper Sunday roast dinner available Sunday lunchtimes.
Real fire in the bar too.

The Crown, Hyde Lea

Used to be a good pub, now has a manager so not as motivated as previous licencee. Often does not have full compliment of beers. Many ex regulars are no longer to be seen, previous lively 'pubby' atmosphere has definitely disappeared.
