The best pub in Britain. Fantastic beer, service and atmosphere. In contract see my comment on the White Hart at Blythburgh and steer clear of there.

The White Hart, Blythburgh

After years of happy drinking and good food I took my wife and toddler and a guest to enjoy a great English pub meal. How wrong could I be?!! The incompetant barman did not take down half of our order, a fact we only found out when only two out of four dishes turned up. When I complained not once did the word "sorry" pass the very aggressive manager's lips and he accused me of taking too long to complain. I then did what I have never done before which was to walk out refusing to pay.
I have told seven regulars never to set foot in the place again and to date they have obliged!
If you want a really great meal with real service go to the Lord Nelson in Southwold. My favourite pub in Britain!!!
