I have visited this pub only once and quite recently and I will definitely go back sometime. Nice, small, pub, friendly landlord and not too far from the railway station.
We had a good meal which we felt was reasonably priced, it has a non-smoking policy throughout which is fantastic.
The beer was great, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The Three Fishes.

I am not from this area and was passing by when I saw this pub, very nice and appealing from the outside so we stopped and went in. Very nice inside also and was busy in the early evening. My first ale was good but the second, pulled by another member of bar staff, was terrible, she didn't seem to know how to pull a good pint. As for my meal, the starter was OK but the main meal was absolutely terrible. The overriding taste was of salt, as though the chef had accidentally tipped over the salt pot onto my meal and stirred it in, not very adventurous I know but we both had the same meal and both were affected by this. I explained this to the lady behind the bar who I assume was the manager but she just said, almost inaudibly and insincerely, "oh sorry 'bout that, bye." We had to stop on the way home and buy drinks, my tongue was like a dried up slug in my mouth afterwards! It was the first (and last) time I had ever visited this pub so can only comment on the one visit.
