John O'Gaunt Inn, Horsebridge

We waited for this pub to be refurbished and it looked very nice when it was finished with a nice beer. However the food seriously let it down. Slow service, expensive (for what it was) poor quality food.
My wife's fish pie should have been called cheese and potato pie and my Lasagna was a small block with side salad not salad.
Good for a drink during your test walk and the sandwiches looked ok but not for a meal.

The Fox and Hounds, Southampton

A traditional old corner pub with nice people two bars, lounge and public. A refreshing change to all the others. No food but it's a nice pub to while away an evening. Bar billiards table, karaoke last Saturday each month and still the not too serious quiz nite weds and crib team.
