Under the new licencees, Nick to welcome you in the bar and restaurant and Steve the highly capable chef, the Trowel is back on top form after a long closure. With quiz and curry night on Wednesdays, Steak night on Fridays and Sunday lunches where kids go free the place really buzzes. Bar food is very good and dining in the pleasant restaurant with a great menu and good wines to choose from, the appetisingly prepared food is presented by the friendly and helpful staff.
