The Staghunters Inn, Lynton

Absolutely gorgeous setting with a lovely little beer garden over the road right next to the village. Good selection of local ales but it was all about the Addlestone's cloudy cider for me.
Didn't try the food but there's a good veggie selection.

Hoopers Bar, Camberwell

A gem of a pub. Not long lived in the area and searching for somewhere to watch the football on Weds and found this place. Small crowd of chatty fella's watching the match (who complimented me on my tankard :0) ), good beers including one brewed by my old local when I was a student in Wales which was a lovely surprise.

Football didn't infringe on the pub cos it was just in the one area and there wasn't loads of us. The knitting club were in too but they wern't too roudy either.

Only downer was the �.10 pint price but that wont put me off frequenting.

The Phoenix, Denmark Hill

Lovely and laid back, absolutely superb music and a good collection of games available. Has Westons Organic Cider on tap which is gorgeously dangerous . Only one ale but they change it regularly. Only ate there one and it was good but not stunning.

Mulled wine was pretty ropey mind, but won't need to worry about that for another 10 months or so.
