Called in on a 15 mile circular walk from Lynton using the South West Coastal Path then inland st Cosgate Hill dropping down to Leeford. This was supposed to be a quick stop but the Exmoor Stag was so well kept and drawn from the cask that we had to have another before reluctantly going on our way. The landlord was first class just what you would expect in this type of location but seldom meet

Stopped for lunch and decided to stay overnight as it was so good. Good food , beer and location. We will be back

A brilliant pub and a world class location.
Food good, ale good, beer garden fantastic.
Walkers heaven.

Visited one warm, slow lunch time. Welcoming, attractive pub, pretty setting along a quiet lane.

Absolutely gorgeous setting with a lovely little beer garden over the road right next to the village. Good selection of local ales but it was all about the Addlestone's cloudy cider for me.
Didn't try the food but there's a good veggie selection.
