The Ruby Grand, Hammersmith

This place has just been taken over by a more trendy owner. The previous old Irish dragon, ran the place for her own amusment. The bar staff were hilarious, three or four girls who just used to play pool and chat with customers. Could well change though, the last time i spoke to them they were thinking of making it over 21's.

The Raven, Stamford Brook

Really nice pub. It has three parts; a cosy front bit, great in the winter, a restaurant bit, and a beer garden so take your pick.
Its got a really good atmophere and the staff are pleasent. The music is different to any other pub I've been in, and suits the casual mood of the place. The only draw back, would be for someone who really hates smoke, as the low ceiling of the front of the pub, means that the smoke builds up over a night. A great pub besides though.
