The Coach and Horses, Harrogate

One of the best real pubs in Harrogate. A fine selection of impeccably kept real ale. Unfortunately they now appear to allow dogs and children. Not a fan of smelly muts when I'm trying to enjoy a pie and a pint.

The Grapes, Limehouse

Visited on Sunday afternoon absolutely miserable barmaid. Only one cask ale available. Draft cider went off during visit. Nice looking pub but wouldn't be in a rush to go back unless they sort out their stock and educate their staff in warm welcome.

The Gardeners Arms, Bilton

post by becki on 4/7/10 is unfortunately still spot on. Service with a snarl continues to be the order of the day. Unwelcoming and rude lanlord, rules posted all over the pub. Don't expect to get served before any of the locals. Real shame as it could be a good little pub. Amazed that Sam Smiths don't sort this out - best avoided.
