The John O'Gaunt Inn, Sutton

If you like the traditional country inn then this pub is for you. A frequently changing selection of real ales (and the occasional 'real' cider). The food is excellent; all freshly prepared and cooked by the landlord's wife (apparently much of the ingredients are locally sourced) and very reasonably priced too.
The 'pub garden' is strewn with lovely old apple trees and at the very back a petanque pitch overlooks farmland: If you visit in the winter you can always warm yourself by one of the two real fires whilst playing darts or bar skittles.
