The Chequers Inn, Ightham
I hadn't been to this pub for about 6 years but, having heard it was under new management, went there last Friday with the family. I have to say that the food was superbly cooked! Very fresh. Sometimes eating out can be a bit hit or miss and pub food can be a bit mass produced but the food was perfect and all fresh ingredients. All 6 of us really enjoyed it. Very glad to have good pub food locally. Well worth a visit for the quality of food.
