The Tunnel End Inn, Marsden

We visited yesterday as part of a train-based crawl through (some of) West Yorkshire. Tunnel End Inn was our favourite among some great other pubs. Naturally friendly welcome from Bev, the landlady and a lovely side room where we tucked into our superb meat pie meals. The range of beers was good and kept in great condition.
It's a fine walk along the canal from Marsden rail station and you can return along Reddisher Road to get some views of the surrounding countryside.
Highly recommended and worth a detour.
