Disastrous to see the Tunnel End 'temporarily closed'. Brilliant pub, especially in the summer months, and just the nicest owners you could wish to meet. Gary & Bev, I sincerely hope you can get this beauty up & running again, and soon - i miss it already, and that will only get worse as the sun gets hotter. Good luck! readyeric - 13 May 2011 18:53 |
This pub was closed on 12th March 2011 when I went to visit. There was a poster in the window from the owners saying that they couldn't afford to keep it open any more as there were too many quiet times to make ends meet. Shame. soupcon - 18 Mar 2011 22:45 |
A slightly old-fashioned feel to the pub, which is in no way a criticism. Popped early Friday evening for a pint, draught Bass which was okay, and the atmosphere was very much like a village pub. Worth seeking out. BUFFETBORE - 19 Jul 2010 16:29 |
