The Britannia Inn, Dungeness

Having heard the good report of Britannia in Dungeness, we decided to try it out. It ticked all boxes in every way, big car park, friendly greeting when we arrived, good choice on the menu and nice real ales. My husband had the Masterbrew & Spitfire which he had had before in other pubs, you will not get a better quality ale than these. Service was brillant and food was superb. I opted for the Lamb Shank which was yummy. The meat fell off the bone and was so tender. The rest of family members ordered the famous fish & chips and Sunday Roast. They were declicious. The desserts were good too. Their menu seems to cater for everyone including vegetarians and kids. We enjoyed the location, service and food. Price is reasonable. It is a pub restaurant ideal for gathering. We look forward to our next visit with family and friends.
