The Sligachan Hotel, Sligachan

It boasts of home cooking but fails to say the homecooking is actually Hotel Caterers `instant mash` with consistancy of wallpaper paste and NOT real potatoes. Veg is frozen and bland. The Chilli con Carne was just a small portion of mince on a bed of rice..and certainly was NOT chilli. ( the rice was cooked to perfection though). I have eaten hotter ice cream. Prices are extortionate to a captive market, and attitude of staff really sucks big time. Very complacent staff and pathetic meals. DON`T stop here for a meal. Beer is almost �1.00 dearer than anywhere else on Skye. Whoever owns this hotel clearly isn`t customer focused. I urge you to drive past and try ANYWHERE else on the beautiful Isle of Skye.
