The Woolpack Inn, Stonehouse

There's not much local competition so this pub can get away with being complacent. There is rarely much of a welcome, the service is often slow and the decor and surroundings increasingly tired and scruffy. However there is a good choice of real ales - always in good condition - as well as other beers and the food is always good.
