The Plough, Long Wittenham

Grumpy barman and a very unwelcome reception sent alarm bells ringing. Carrying my pint all the way down to the river before tasting it was a mistake as it tasted of pipe cleaner. Overall a great disapointment.

Brilliant pub, great beer, friendly atmosphere, what more is there to say?

The Bear Inn, North Moreton

Great selection of local beers and the odd one like Timothy Taylors and Growler from further afield. Ribeye steak was good value and delicious and the Thursday night curry with a pint is good value at �6.95. Highly recommended.
