The Old Ship Inn, Upwey

This is lovely country pub, in the village of Upwey.
We recently held our wedding reception here, we selected partly because of it's location, parking & garden etc.. Mainly we chose due to the excellent welcome we recieved from the landlady Pam (A true traditional english pub landlady).
Some of our guests chose to stay in the B&B accomadation at the ship, they had a fantastic stay in recently decorated rooms with a good quality breakfast.
The food that Pam cooked for the reception, as she now runs the kitchen herself, was all first class, from canapes on our guests arrival, to fresh salmon & beautifal fresh homemade desserts.
All our guest had a fantastic time and many have since returned there for lunch & evening meals.
We heartily recommend this pub, be it for a quiet drink, a superb meal, or any event.
