The Golden Heart, Winterbourne Down
Used to be a good family pub with good food, I am very sorry to report that further to a change in management the golden heart is a pub to a avoid.
On a recent visit the food standard was very poor and general manager (Shane) extremely rude. It's bad enough that local pubs are struggling to stay in business, can't believe that the owners of this one are happy to see standards nosedive so quickly. Chef&brewer/Punch - I suggest you take a look for yourselves asap, in the meantime I'll be taking all of my business elsewhere.
