Mad as hatter landlord who hates townies and walkers alike. Great food and beer. Great fun but a bit far to walk back to the center of Church Stretton at night though.

Bucks Head, Church Stretton

The corner to your left is known locally as cliquie corner. By mid afternoon it's full of assorted doleys and alcoholics. The rest of the pub is devoid of atmosphere and is just a big empty room. Boring at night. Nice beer garden in summer and nice smoking area unless you are joined by the alcoholics.

Kings Arms, Church Stretton

Nice pub frequented by locals and walkers alike.
Take no notice of the earlier againstyobbery post. It's the landlord from the Bucks Head who is upset that the Kings food is better and cheaper. They do it all the time in the Bucks, slag off and spread rumours about the other pubs in the town and generally cause mischief when it is not needed. Come in and make up your own mind.
