Greyhound, Boothtown Worsley

I am so pleased that, yes, we have found a little gem in The Greyhound! My wife and I have been in a few more times and again have had a great evening.
The only fault I can make is that they are not serving food there at the moment, but I am told the kitchen will be open on Friday and will have a new chef and new menu. We had a walk down to moorings for our tea on Sunday, it was good value for money but the mash tasted like powdered stuff, I hope The Greyhound doesn't go for the cheap and cheerful microwave menu. Come on, lets have some homemade food!!

Greyhound, Boothtown Worsley

My wife & I recently moved to the Boothstown area and went into The Greyhound last night for the 1st time. What can I say?? We had a fantastic night. It was one of the owners 40th birthday party and how welcome did we feel! We only went in for a quick drink to check the new local out and ended up staying all night! They had a fantastic Male artist on and we couldn't believe the atmosphere! A real mixture of young and old, all dancing and singing along with each other! The hot buffet for the owners birthday was curry and rice and it was fantastic! We had a great night, I hope it wasn't just because it was a birthday party that it was so good! We will be back next weekend to see! Lets hope my wife and I have found a little Gem near to our new home, no Taxis!!!
I must give a big hello to the two Debbie's who partly run the pub, they made us feel very welcome and filled us in on our new area!! Thank You!
