Had lunch at Sands the other day, I would call it a Gastro Pub.
The prawn cocktail starter was a new approach to an old favourite, and was quite good.
My 'mains' of Steak Bernaise for �14-50 was a disapointing, chewy, stringy, cheap cut, which if I had been at home would have been fed to the dog.
Don't think I'll be going back!
