The Prince William Henry, Southwark
It didn't look welcoming from the street but we had well-kept Youngs in a much nicer pub than some of the places near Waterloo and the tube stations. Even managed to get a table as soon as we arrived. Didn't try the food but the portions looked generous and the plates were cleared. Worth a visit if you find youself in Southwark/Waterloo.

The Greyhound Inn, Letcombe Regis
This place was a pleasant surprise after seeing the 5.5 rating. I can only disagree with it: nicely kept Morlands, friendly bar staff, non-smoking area, more veggie choice on the menu than I've seen in some city pubs and a decent-sized beer garden with an Aunt Sally. We went on the two nights we were staying at the Youth Hostel and had a great time. We'll be back!

The Waggon and Horses, Surbiton
Beg to differ, it's nothing like a W*th*rsp**n's, thank God. I've always found this place agreeably convivial yet at the same time happily pest-free. But you're right about the most important thing, you'll get the best Youngs for miles.
