The Gardeners Arms, Lewes

Called in here last Saturday with two mates ( one of whom is an exiled northerner ) and partook of some excellent dark beers and porters. A real boozer, with friendly and efficient staff, and the locals seem a friendly bunch. Heres another northerner who will be paying it a visit next time Im in this part of Sussex.

The Blue Bell, York

Called in here last Saturday as part of a real ale pub crawl. If you enjoy a friendly welcoming boozer serving a wide range of spot on ales then this is the place for you. Smashing time guaranteed.

The Stackpole Inn, Stackpole

Ventured into this welcoming Inn last Easter whilst on a walking break and sampled a few pints of excellent real ale. I did not have a meal but the food looked to be well cooked and of ample proportions that satisfied many visitors whilst I was there. The staff were courteous and professional whilst never being condescending. Very highly recommended.
