QueCumBar, Battersea

From the outside it looks delightful, cosy and pretty unique...and being off the beaten track you really think you've stumpled across something special.

So the night I decided to take a good friend to Quecum Bar I had high expectations. We were greeted by an over-friendly waitress who showed us to our table. As we sat down she made a few inappropriate jokes and when she took my order, she made a face and suggested I hadn't choosen the best dish. I should have taken that as a que to leave!

The food was edible but adverage. It is like frozen food and when they're charging �11 for a tiny peice of chicken and some supposedly 'home-made' chips it's daylight robbery! Our bill came to �49 - I felt completely ripped off.

Luckily the music and atmosphere were enjoyable but it did not make up for the adverage food and average service we received.

I'd go back again - but not to eat. This place has so much potential. It's such a shame.
