The Black Horse, Exeter

Large open plan with plenty of tables. The beer has a reasonable selection and a good sized bar. the beer was ok, but i have heard other people say a few pints they have had there were not so good. well equiped for all ages, but mainly younger people go in there. worth a try and a good reasonable pub when your on a crawl in exeter centre

The Hen and Chicken, Bedminster

Recently refurbished and revamped. Gone was the run down look and good pool tables. Yet another yuppy minimalist bar opened up at the Southville end of Bedminster. Lacks personality and character. It's basically a smaller version of the Tobacco factory, but still quite a large pub. It's more of a suited business person's hang out by day and a studenty place by night. It however is definitely not cheap though. Well overpriced! I wouldn't even bother knowing what it's like. I'd rather they brought back the run down dump it used to be. At least it was a good pub then

The Winford Arms, Dundry

Very well presented pub and well maintained. Great parking facilities and a good location. Goo selection of beers. Bar staff are friendly. Customers seem rather snobby and stuck up. I didn't like the atmosphere. People stil conversed, but i got the impression because i am young i wasn't welcome. Good real ales though. If you're an older person who is respectable and doesn't mind quite overpriced drinks then this is for you.
