Disappointing, food okay, staff okay, music at sunday lunch time Lincoln Park, not to everyones taste.

Nice family friendly pub, good range of beers, friendly staff. Food good value and the Mackrell was very nice, plenty of seating out the front and down the side of the pub, also in bar area and upstairs in restaurant.

Not been to this pub before, but decided to have lunch today as we were passing. Found the food and service excellant, prices seem to be on a par with other pubs in the area. Lovelly seating area, the staff were friendly and we did not have to long to wait for our food. The crab was great. It was also nice to find a pub that had salad as a choice on their menu. Will certainly being going back for an evening meal.

Had lunch recently and was disappointed, service was poor, food was not as good as we have had before, fire in main bar was so hot that you could not get within 10 feet of it, the three tables nearest were empty, people kept sitting down and then moving because of the heat, and the landlord was still adding logs to it when we left. (He must be feeling the cold).

The Horns Lodge, South Chailey
We have driven passed on more than one occasion.this time we stopped for lunch.
Very friendly staff, food good and reasonably priced, the pub and garden need a bit of work, updating and decorating etc, I understand its under new management so I look forward to seeing what they do.
We will certainly stop for lunch again next time we are passing.

The Jolly Sportsman, East Chiltington
Nice pub, lovely garden, Lunchtime menu (Garden) disappointing, restaurant menu very expensive. After one drink decided to go to another pub for lunch. We won't be going back.

Had our evening meal in this pub today, the food was very good, if a little on the expensive side. The wait seemed a little long. And it was not that busy. It still could do with clean. Staff friendly and very helpful. Probably won't go back for another meal. We plan to try another pub in the area.

Had lunch in this pub today, a little disappointed that it did not look like its picture, maybe its the time of year, little or no ivy! Parking was a problem we ended up in a field about fifty meters behind it. However, the food was good, not to long to wait as it was very busy. I agree with the last comment could be a bit cleaner. Staff friendly and very helpful. We will be going back for an evening meal so will post a comment again.

This pub has changed dramatically in the last few years, Shepherd and Neame have invested a lot of money in it, with a large extention incorporating new kitchen and dining area, and a large decked area out the back. The pub is very welcoming and the food is probably the best in the area. I would have preferred Harveys ale's but you can't have everything.

The New Inn Hotel, Clovelly
Nice pub, food good, beer good, just a shame you have to pay to get into Clovelly. BIG MISTAKE.
