another new set of owners trying to replicate the success of years ago. Still overpriced food that drives locals away. Shame, as you couldnt find a nicer setting f you tried.

The Prince of Wales, Green Tye

great beers and with brewery on site regularily changing. A proper old style boozer with friendly banter from locals and bar staff alike. Food not amazing but you come here for beer or the whiskeys.

The Star, Standon

nice drinkers pub, but food terrible- especially sunday roast. Poor veg selection, frozen yorkshires and rude cook (someone who can use a microwave does not qualify as a chef..) One to miss.
