One of the worst experiences we've ever had in a pub. Came in with my girlfriend about 4pm intending to buy a Sunday roast and saw a load of half eaten plates on the tables. Against our better judgement ordered 2 beef roasts which turned out to be nothing more than expensive gloopy stodge. Went to the toilet then one of the bar staff took my drink which was half full while my girlfriend was on the phone. Tried to complain and a certain member of bar staff tried to suggest I was pulling one. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

One of the better City pubs. Good selection of ales and reasonably priced for the area.

Best pub in (near) the City. Good bar snacks and can get served quickly even on Friday night after work!

Worst pub in London. Over priced beer, around �4 a pint and full of City idiots. Bar staff are morons. I asked for some free olives after spending around �20 (�100 between our group) and they refused.

Rude staff, overpriced beer, dirty glasses, freaky people. Bets pub in the world! Love it!

The Master Gunner, Moorgate
Forced to go into this pit of Hades again the other day. Still overpriced beer served by rude and ugly bar staff. Why not go round the corner to the Fox?!? Better beer, reasonably priced and hot bar staff, especially the Cerys Matthews look alike!
