The Yew Tree is set about a mile on the Salisbury side of Warminster town centre. And it's worth the trip. Now a Marstons pub with three real ales on. Marstons have a wide selection of beers available to their pubs - it's not all Pedigree!! All are kept in good condition and well served. This is a relatively quiet pub - until the weekend. Live acoustic music features heavily with regular live bands on a Saturday and an open "jam session" on Sunday afternoon. Opening times are 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and midday Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The pub is welcoming, has a great atmosphere and is worth a look.

Good village pub. Beer is from Moles - but beer other than Moles is available. It's very well kept and presented. Good atmosphere, open all day, and food is good.
Says it all really. Give it a go. Bit of an oasis in a desert.

Great little pub but don't expect any sort of entertainment. It's strictly no kids, no fruity's and no music - other than occasional live music. Beer is excellent, well kept, well presented and changes regularly. Well worth a visit. Note - at the moment it opens at 4pm every day except Saturday when it's open all day.

Beer is mediocre, staff seem to have little idea about the presentation of a good pint. Gets stupidly busy in nice weather - with queues in excess of ten minutes and I honestly don't think that the nice setting makes up for the pubs shortfalls, including getting to there in the first place.
I love a good pint of beer, but I drink cask cider on the odd occasion that I go there. Food is ok.

The Weymouth Arms, Warminster
The Weymouth Arms is not a "drinkers" pub. It is a restaurant and hotel which has a small bar that serves excellent beer. There are four hand pumps and the current selection is a couple from Butcombe (Best and Mendip Spring). There are sometimes more beers on tap. Both beers on offer were absolutely spot on. In addition to this, good quality lagers and ciders were on keg, as well as a comprehensive wine list. The welcome is warm and genuine. The food is nothing short of excellent. If you are after a great, fairly quiet place to eat followed by a couple of well kept beers, the Weymouth should not be missed. Ten out of ten.
