Mr or rs Blackthorn, though I am surprised about their being no draught cider at the vic, you do not go to the pub for the lager. Its an ale and food house.
As for english lager, didn't know we produced any, unless you call that sorry excuse of a pisswater product carling a decent lager.the
And yes I like vic as somewhere to go for a quiet relaxing good quality englih pint of ale.

No real ale on, even though advertised, even though there is a couple of hand pumps on. The breakfast is much better than the one oneils used to offer, but typicaly overpriced as its an airport bar

Oneils is no more, it is now a Bridge Bar. Sitting in terminal three at the moment, waiting for it to open for some breakfast. Will post further reports soon and its advertising real ale as well. Hurrah

This pub has gone up in my estimation since I met two other Palace fans in here watching the game on Monday just gone.

The Cotham Porter Stores, Cotham
One of my favorite pubs in Bristol. Has a fantastic jukebox, with a good mix of customers.
Walked passed last night and it seemed shut for a refurb. Hopefully this won't kill the character of this pub.

Popped in for a couple last night. Busy, but nice atmosphere, busy for the quiz night. Nice pint of otter

The Prince of Wales, Bishopston
Nice pub, but service can be hit and miss. Was in last night and the music was playing full blast last night, and made conversation hard.

Went in last night, and was very impressed. Eight beers on tap all in good condition. Will be visiting again.sonn

Shocking ember inns, especially on fridays. Full of kids, and powder snuffers

The Wellington, Horfield
Nice pub which is well run. Well kept beer with nice atmosphere, though can be a bit flat during the day.
