Agree with tomario which now seems to extended to saturday nights as well. Atmosphere has changed now and is no longer relaxed with intrusive music, generally felt uncomfortable, perhaps the landlord has changed and and missed what was the attraction of this pub in the first place. Hopefully this is a temporary blip sitewalker - 27 Jul 2009 12:21 |
Shocking ember inns, especially on fridays. Full of kids, and powder snuffers tomario75 - 16 Jun 2009 21:55 |
Fairly decent pub from the Ember Inns stable. Often has beer festivals with free beers on collecting enough stamps. Atmosphere is laid back and there is plenty of comfy seating. Food is pretty good chain-pub fayre, but don't expect haute cuisine. Quiz on Tuesday nights (~25 first prize), but the quiz mistress has a tendency to make your ears bleed! bertrude - 8 Dec 2007 17:34 |
Decent guest beers appear with frequency, though only about 2 at a time. A decent boozer though can get overly busy during the weekends. anonymous - 13 Apr 2007 20:10 |
