The Troubadour, West Brompton

Met a friend here on a Tues night and thought it was fabulous! Excellent cocktails, wine, food and service was second to none! A fabulous quaint little watering hole!

Hume Arms, Torksey

Having moved away from Lincolnshire 4 years ago I decided to treat my Mother and family to a Mothers day meal (previous visit was 2002 - which was excellent!). Very, very disapointed, Cannot cope with numbers! We had a party of 8 - starters all came out seperately and still the bread was missing! arrived when we had finished. All had a carvery for mains, limited choice on veg, no potatoes! and all luke warm! service extremely slow, waited over an hour for desserts and decided to give up (never actually received desserts in the end!), complained to Manager who seemed to be completely oblivious to it all but with persuasion took 50% off the bill!
However I will never go back - gone completely down hill!
