Can only echo the last comment of the previous posting, as the place filled up last night we were commanded to move table - if we'd been asked instead of bullied we would have doubtless obliged, but the manner left much to be desired so we departed, never to return. The small lad has principles.

very trendy, good music nights and prince harry goes there, but overpriced drinks and poor service,

Music downstairs is good but the place has been stripped out and gone upmarket since the good old days of New Routes Acoustic and the times when Dylan played here. And the beer (and presumably all other drinks) are very expensive - something like 4.65 for a pint of lager. The pub next door must be coining it as a place to go for the drinks instead - and even it isn't that cheap.

History was great - so great we went back to see the band (Dave Stewart) last Thursday 25 Sep. Band was pretty decent. Not really a pub as they have everything from wine and spirits to coffee, but very few beers, and only bottled. But the place was very cool - bit pricey. Downstairs is great, small stage and a fountain to wash your hands in. Garden out back closes early. Food not bad either. Didn't think the bad reviews I read were completely fair tbh.

Love this place. Ok its a bit grubby and expensive but what a night out and great staff and atmosphere.
