The Coach and Horses, Billericay
Had my first trip to the Coach and Horses on Friday. I can't review the Ale, as I only had a lager, but that was good. As for the food..... I had an absolutely lovely Steak and Kidney pudding. I'm new to the area and will definitely be back

Was in here on friday. The Lager was flat and the guinness was shoddy. However these two problems were nothing compared to the smell. This pub STINKS. Not just every now and again either. It was all evening.

THIS PLACE HAS BEEN RUINED.
DOt and Terry = Great Masons Days
Mel and Bernadette = Great Masons days till Mel didn't want to do food anymore.
Then there was the procession of temp land lords who let any old trash in the pub. Chav scum to be precise.
Now it's been close, done up and opened again.
It's a sad day. It's now a "Restaurant with a bar area, but if the restaurant is full the bar will be for food too"
Out is the pool, the jukebox, the Sport.
In is wine glasses on tables.
It's now another pub with no entertainment. One pub in the whole area to watch sport in.
The masons was brilliant. Now it's been RUINED.
R.I.P

Recently changed hands and done up a little.
It's now even better than before. Fantastic beer, great food and friendly bar staff who seem to enjoy their jobs. Dart board, Sky Sports, 3 big screens.
Perfect boozer.

Wow. Came here for a meal last week. It was as if the menu was designed for me. Fantastic.

It's not a bad pub. Just another run of the mill chain pub. Unpretentious. Doesn't try to be flash cos it would fail. Not bad but not good.

They seem to enjoy employing people who can't really speak english. You ask for a lager you get half a coke. You ask for a burger with chilli you get nachos. It's alright, but not great.

We already miss Mel and Bernadette. The best land lord and land lady ever. Bring them back and i'll be back. Used to be the greatest pub in the world

The Lark in the Park, Islington
It's a dump in the middle of a dump. BBQ food? not really. More a man cooking frozen stuff on a griddle. 5 to get in. I think thats to keep you in once you've seen what it's like. I won't be back.

I don't like this pub. It's expensive it's cold and it just doesn't feel like a pub. Rubbish

If you like your pubs to be pubs and the beer to be good this is the place to go.
None pretentious. It's a pub. Pure and simple. I love this place. 3 screens for sport. Cheap drinks and i hear good food. Friendly staff.
Watched Sunderland get promoted in this pub. Fantastic.

Rammed with couriers. Who'll usually try and muscle you off the pool table or push you out of they way. Not on my watch.
It's alright, but not a great pub. The thai food is osmething special though. well worth a visit for that.

The Bleeding Heart, Clerkenwell
The food is amazing. You have to pay more than other "pubs" this isn't a pub it's a restaurant, but it's well worth it. AMAZING wine list.

Thinks it's a posh pub. It's not. Uncomfortable seating. 4 for a bottle of Magners. Good food if you like burgers served in Chiabata. Staff are friendly though. Customers are rude. When you ask them if someone has seen your bag cos it may of been stolen they'll look at you like you're an alien.

I used to really like this pub. Decent food and the quality of the beer is fantastic. It's been in the good beer guide forever for good reason.
Everything has changed now though. THe beer is still good though.
Ordered food from quite possibly the most miserable barmaid i've ever met.
Took a table upstairs and was confronted by a dead mouse, in the middle of the room.
I always thought the stairs smelt a little bit like urine, but always laughed that off.
FInding a dead mouse in full view was the last straw though.
I won't be back
